Should I put my wet phone in rice?
No. Rice does nothing for the board and delays the repair. Switch the phone off, do not charge it, and bring it to us.
My phone is water resistant, why did it fail?
IP67 and IP68 ratings assume a new, undamaged seal in fresh water. Age, drops and sea or pool water defeat the seal.
How long does water damage repair take?
Cleaning and inspection is usually same day. If components need micro-soldering, allow one to three days.
Can you get my photos back if the phone is dead?
Very often yes. We either revive the board long enough to back up, or recover from the storage chip. Free assessment first.
Is there a warranty on water damage repair?
Corrosion can reappear, so we warranty the replaced parts and give a shorter guarantee on the board work. We explain this clearly before you approve.
