iPhone X Water Damage Repair At iPro Ampang

Ms Dilla came to our shop with her iPhone X that cannot be turned on. She said that her iPhone started to have this problem since she dropped her iPhone into a pool. At first, her iPhone was able to turn on normally. On the same night, her iPhone went pitch black and would not turn on. She immediately contacted us and made an appointment with our technician. She came as per scheduled and our technician inspected her iPhone right away. Our technician washed her iPhone’s motherboard with chemical substance. This chemical substance will eliminate any presence of water. Unfortunately. her iPhone still cannot be turn on after the chemical wash. We were worried that her motherboard might already be damaged by water. We inspected her motherboard and found out that it was a motherboard issue. There is a IC on the motherboard is short-circuited. We need 1-3 days to repair a motherboard as it is a very delicate procedure. We contacted her the next day and asked her to come pick up her iPhone. She was really glad to see her iPhone is able to be turn on. She also thanked us for saving her data on her iPhone. The data on the iPhone has an 50% chance of survival if it is damaged, she was just lucky to have her data back.
