Ms. Janett came to our shop with her iPhone Xs that has that has cracked backglass. The crack is mostly on the upper side of the backglass. The crack might damage your fingers or even allow water to enter into the device. We told him that the backglass replacement process might take up to 2 hours. This is because the process is complex and we need to be careful handling the device. Firstly, our technician inspected the device’s component and everything was performing fine. Next, we use an all in one multifunctional laser machine that separates the backglass panel from the frame. The laser will pulverize only the glue underneath the glass. Afterwards, we pry off the glass from the frame carefully without damaging the wireless charger on the back. After that, we cleaned the frame to remove any residue of the glass. Sequentially, we placed a new backglass on the frame and glued it together. We left the device to dry off under UV ray and the backglass is completely replaced. Lastly, we returned the device back to her and she was glad to see the new backglass.

Mr. Shah came to our shop with his iPhone Xs that has water damage. Smartphone are most prune to water damage. Water can easily damage the internal circuit of a smartphone because water and electricity does not work well together. Problems related with water damage can be tricky and needs to be examined with extra care. Most of water damaged cases need at least 1-3 days to be fully inspected and fixed. We told him that we would have to do chemical wash on his phone. Chemical Wash is a process of cleaning the water residue inside the phone. We told him that the process of Chemical Wash would take 1-2 hours and our customer agreed with it. Then, we found out that few components are malfunctioning and the motherboard is working normally. The screen and charging port was short circuited. Both of these component needs to be replaced and he agreed to it. We managed to replace the screen and charging port within 20 minutes. Lastly, we tested the device again before returning it back to him.

Mr. Syahrizal came to our shop with his iPhone 7 that has a problem. The device is unable to make any call or record any audio. The problem seems quite familiar with an audio IC problem but we had to inspect the device to be sure. Firstly, we inspected the device’s components and no problem was found. Next, we proceeded on inspecting the motherboard as we suspected. The audio IC was malfunctioning and we replaced the audio IC. We removed the audio IC by applying heated air around the audio IC. After applying some heat and delicate hand skill, we removed the audio IC. Then, we reassembled the device and tested the device thoroughly. Lastly, the device was working normally and we returned the device back to him.

As Apple stated, this is to protect the battery and device itself.

The warranty covers any problem related and relevant to the battery. Firstly, we started with diagnosing the device and did not found any problem. Next, we proceeded to replace the battery with an original battery. Then, the battery were replaced within 20 minutes and everything went smoothly.
